Maternity leave
I trust this letter finds you well. As you may be aware, I will be taking maternity leave in the next few months and have included a timetable of my availability changes at the end of this document.
I will start to reduce my hours from the 1st May, continuing to work the following hours in May:
8.30am – 2pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
I will start my leave on the 1st June, and return to the clinic early in 2010.
My colleague Sarah Harris, who is a Naturopath and Remedial Massage Therapist with her own established practice, will locum during the period of my maternity leave. Sarah is an exceedingly trusted and competent practitioner with a very similar style and approach to mine. You may remember Sarah, who attended my practice whilst I was her mentor last year. We have since been continuing our professional development together in the field of naturopathy.
As of the 1st April, Sarah will be present in my practice, to be introduced to patients where appropriate.
Sarah will commence as locum, as I reduce my hours from the 1st May, with the following availability:
2.30pm – 6.30pm Tuesday & Thursday
As I commence full leave on the 1st June, her availability will increase to the following;
1pm – 6.30pm Tuesday
8.30am – 2pm Wednesday
Please see below for availability timetable for both Sarah and I in the coming months.
Thank you for trusting me with your health, and for supporting my practice over the last 10 years. I look forward to seeing you until June, and again in 2010, and I know Sarah will care for you well in the meantime.
